Signs Your Plants Need More Light (And What to Do)

Sometimes your plant is not slow growing - it is just light deprived. As fall rolls in, even bright windows lose strength. Here are signs to look for and how to help your plants soak up what they need.

1. Stretching

Long, leggy stems with big gaps between leaves are a clear sign of light chasing. Move your plant closer to a bright window or add a SunBlaster LED Light.

2. Faded leaves

If your plant’s once-deep green leaves start fading or looking dull, it is likely not getting enough energy to stay vibrant. Light fuels color.

3. Drooping

When your plant looks sleepy despite proper watering, it could be from insufficient light. It needs energy to stay perky.

4. Slow growth or no growth

Even in fall, healthy plants should show some activity. If yours is on pause, consider upgrading its light situation before adjusting nutrients.

5. Wet soil that never dries

Low light can mean less evaporation. If your soil stays damp for too long, roots may suffer. Adding GT Foliar can give a little top-up support while you sort out the lighting.

Try a SunBlaster LED for extra light and pair it with GT Foliar to help your plant bounce back with energy and color.

If someone you know has a sad fern by the window, send them this before they panic and re-pot it for no reason.
