How to Revive a Drooping Plant
Drooping leaves are your plant’s way of saying something is out of balance. The good news is that most drooping can be reversed once you identify the cause.
Step 1: Check the Soil
Stick your finger into the soil. If it feels soggy, overwatering is the likely cause. Repot in Plant Haven Aroid Mix to improve drainage and restore airflow around the roots. If it feels dry and crumbly, water slowly until it begins to drain through the bottom.
Step 2: Check the Roots
Gently remove the plant from its pot. Healthy roots are firm and white. Soft, brown roots indicate rot and should be trimmed away. Once cleaned, water with Root Zone to stimulate recovery.
Step 3: Restore Routine
Place your plant in bright, indirect light. Resume watering only when the top few centimeters of soil feel dry. Use Foliage Focus every week for two to three weeks at half strength to rebuild energy.
Step 4: Observe Gradually
Within a few days, leaves should begin to lift again. If recovery is slow, reduce watering frequency and double check your light source.
Reviving a drooping plant is often about patience and balance. With the right mix, nutrients, and rhythm, most plants recover beautifully.
